A great thing about Challenge Scholars is that there is not just one path to success. Rather, we tried to create as many paths as possible for students in the graduating classes of 2020 through 2028.

Earn up to 4 years of college tuition

Did you join Challenge Scholars at Harrison Park or Westwood Middle in 6th grade?

Remain at Harrison Park or Westwood Middle School
Attend Union High School
Have a 95% attendance rate
No 180 Day Expulsions

Maintain a 2.0+ GPA

Earn up to 4 years of tuition-free* college starting at GRCC with the option to transfer after 2 years.
Maintain a 2.5+ GPA

Earn up to 4 years of tuition-free* college at 46+ schools. See a list of schools here.

*Tuition and fees after Pell Grant (FAFSA)

Earn up to 2 years of college tuition

Did you join Challenge Scholars at Union High School in 9th grade?

Remain at Union High School
No 180 Day Expulsions

Maintain a 2.0+ GPA

Earn up to 2 years of tuition-free* college at GRCC.
